Salon Privé Concours Cup Winners
Salon Privé was a success for us all round. The 300SL Roadster we entered into the Concours was up against some tremendously stiff competition but went on to finish second in class, having only been pipped to the class win by a lovely Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider, which in fact went on to come second in ‘Best Of Show’ overall. We also exhibited our bare metal Pagoda shell, shown post-fabrication, and a completed 190SL fully restored by us. Fortunately, the weather held out for 3 days out of the 4 and we were treated to sunny skies throughout the majority of our time there. A fantastic event attended by us for the first time, and we give our thanks to the Bagley brothers and event organisers for working so hard to deliver a premium product and make it a must-do on the events calendar.
