Panel Beater/Fabricator or MET Technician Wanted
We're looking for an experienced MET technician or panel beater/fabricator to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a prestigious classic car restorer, responsible for delivering some of the highest quality restorations in the UK. The business is continuing to grow and move from strength to strength, and we are looking to recruit a new member of the team to assist with our ever increasing workload. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver the highest standard of bodywork around, and intend to continue along the same path. The potential panel technician must be confident in carrying out a full body restoration of a vehicle and have previously done jig work, with experience in all types of welding and particular skills like leading etc. would be advantageous. In the case of an MET technician, they must be confident in stripping a vehicle to a bare shell and carrying out the re-assembly of said vehicle, and capable of other mechanical duties such as carrying out engine work. Candidates must have a genuine passion for, and understanding of historic sports and classic cars, together with a proven track record of work on such vehicles. Experience with Mercedes - 190SL, Pagoda, W108/111 and R107 series in particular -, Jaguar and Aston Martin would be especially beneficial.
