Offered up for sale here is a beautiful example of the ever popular classic Lotus Elan S4. First registered in May 1968 this car has had just 4 former keepers before we acquired the car. A Lotus certificate of vehicle provenance is present within the cars documents confirming its identify. Since purchasing the car we have carried out extensive restoration work both cosmetically and mechanically. Our highly skilled Lotus trained technicians and state of the art restoration facility allows us to carry out any restoration work in house to the highest of standards. Near to £20,000 has been spent ensuring this classic Elan now looks and drives as it should. A full body respray and defect correction was carried out by Hilton and Moss on this car. Any imperfections on the body shell were rectified before an entire respray. This gave us the chance to colour change the vehicle from its original Burnt Sand paintwork to the stunning yellow you see the car in today. The finish on our paintwork is second to none and has contributed to previous restorations of ours winning awards at events such as Salon Privé Concours d'Elegance. During this time all exterior trims and fixings were replaced to ensure nothing tainted the aesthetics of this very pretty Elan. The restoration work completed extends further than the thorough body work completed. Mechanically the car has been checked from top to bottom by our highly trained technicians. Prior to our ownership the car has been very well looked after with a huge amount of paperwork and receipts from work carried out at Mick Miller. This work ranges from replacing bushes and gaskets to a suspension overhaul, new clutch and general servicing/ maintenance as you would expect. The cars history file also documents a large number of previous MOT certificates to help certify the mileage.
