This Mercedes-Benz 500SL is a most fantastic example of perhaps the ulitmate W107. Presented in concours quality and un-marked nautical blue metallic paintwork with blue cloth interior and a colour coded hardtop. A new unmarked and unused Mercedes-Benz supplied dark blue soft top. Options and standard features include, electric windows, cruise control, rear seats & with seat belts, headlamp wash wipe, ABS braking system, electrically operated left hand out side door mirror, Limited Slip Differential and fire extinguisher mounted. Orignally supplied by London Mercedes-Benz agents Alan Day to it's first customer in London and having covered 92,690 miles in the hands of it's five owners. Present are full service maintenance records and 19 service stamps (last two at Hilton & Moss) with 22 past MOT's certificates accompanying a lovely history file including all relevant invoices, handbooks and keys. This 500SL was sent to Hilton & Moss for a full evaluation and has benefited of a £26,000 full re-paint, body and mechanical work in our workshops alone. The hardtop was restored and re-painted by us with a new heated rear screen together with a new soft top in original specification. Prior to this a vast amount of money was spent mechanically including renewal of the steering box.
