2024 marks 70 years since the SL hit the roads for the first time. Born from racing cars that set the benchmark on track, the SL quickly made its mark as a grand touring sports car, with performance and luxury built in from day one. Now, we are preparing to celebrate seven decades in style, in partnership with Hilton Coachworks and L&L Automotive.On Thursday 12th September, we will gather every generation of SL for what we believe will be the first time in the UK. From the iconic gullwing to the newest iteration from Mercedes-AMG and every generation in between, it promises to be a truly unmissable event.We will guide you through the history of the SL from past to present, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at how classic examples are masterfully restored by the UK's leading classic Mercedes-Benz specialists Hilton & Moss. We will also take you through the state-of-the-art facilities of Hilton Coachworks, the UK's largest independent Mercedes-Benz accident repair centre.Most importantly, we'd love to see you there to enjoy this unique event with us.
