LOTUS EUROPA
Description
This Europa required a fair bit of care and attention to make it ready for sale. As with so many classic Lotus, many minor but hard-to-replace parts were missing, one of the bumpers needed to be replaced and the other re-chromed, with the engine needing a complete overhaul. Our parts department successfully replaced the minor items after weeks of hard work trying to source them. The rear bumper proved to be a real challenge, but eventually, one of our contacts located a suitable candidate and both bumpers were sent for re-chroming. Our Lotus team soon had the car running beautifully, and after some intense paint preparation by the body shop and an engine bay detail, the car was quickly sold.
