MERCEDES-BENZ 190SL (W121) 1960
Description
This 190SL was first registered in the UK and was sourced on behalf of our Gurnesy customer at Auction. It was a well-known vehicle within the Mercedes-Benz club as it spent time in the hands of club official and Mercedes-Benz engineer Ron Waghorn. Past restoration work was managed by Ron whilst he was at Rose & Young Mercedes-Benz's main agent. On receiving the car a full mechanical & body inspection was performed by our experienced technicians under the watchful eye of Parry. It was decided to strip the body for a colour change. Although the car was in very good condition on stripping it was evident that non-use had taken its toll. A full strip with mechanical overhaul was commissioned to preserve the car in its original condition.
