Description
This 1980 450SEL 6.9 was sourced on behalf of our overseas customer as part of his ever-growing collection. A UK-supplied car featured in many magazine articles, including a test drive by Derek Bell (five times Le Mans winner). This car was subject to a restoration a few years ago but showed signs of poor work. A full mechanical & body inspection proved to indicate that some work was inevitable given the number of years it has been on the road and in order to correct past work. Full coachwork & mechanical restoration is underway to bring this vehicle to a higher standard.
