The suspension was drastically revised with inboard springs and dampers alongside all new double wishbone suspension. The chassis was also strengthened alongside various aero dynamic changes. An all-new alloy 2.3 litre engine tuned by Cosworth is fitted to the CSR and produces a staggering 256BHP. With a curb weight of just 575KG the CSR 260 has a power to weight figure of 452BHP per ton. As a Superlight the vehicle is also fitted with carbon fibre wings, lowered floor, sports dampers and a limited slip differential.
