Complete with an uprated 3.4 engine that was recently rebult using 9.1 pistons, Piper mild road cams fed twin 2" SU carbs with electronic ignition and electric choke. A stainless steel six branch exhaust not only enhances the performance but also produces a fantastic, sonorous rich bark without being intrusive on a long journey. The transmission has been upgraded to a Getrag system replete with a short shift and lightened flywheel and high torque starter motor. To aid cooling a larger ali radiator has been fitted plus a Kenlowe electric fan with manual override and this car also benefits from an XJ6 power steering rack and Coopercraft brakes. A few modern concessions to comfort and usability such as halogen headlights, upgraded XJ6 wiper motor and a Sony CD/i-pod stereo system too.
