The Mercedes-Benz Owners Club Return
Some 4 years after The Mercedes-Benz club visited our then new workshop facilities, Hilton & Moss were delighted to host the club once again, this time at yet another new building.
Members were greeted on arrival, and soon an eclectic mix of Mercedes-Benz vehicles adorned our forecourt. From the older models including W111, W108, 280SL Pagoda and a number of R107s to the more modern examples including a variety of SLs and AMG models to name but a few.
In addition, Mercedes Benz of Hertfordshire (https://www.mercedes-benzhertfordshire.co.uk/) were present showcasing the very latest in EV technology with a brand new Mercedes-AMG EQE53 on display for everyone to explore.
In the showroom, our usual offering of tea, coffee and pastries could be found being enjoyed by all. Later in the morning a guided tour of the facility took place, with our team giving a behind-the-scenes look at our workshop and storage facilities. With numerous Mercedes-Benz restorations underway, it was an ideal opportunity for the club to see the level of work that goes into maintaining and restoring a classic Mercedes.
The tour concluded with a presentation by Ken Pearson of Mercedes Hertfordshire on the new AMG EQE53 followed by a Q&A session about the car and all things EV.
We would like to thank Club Regional Officer Graham Black for organising the visit with us, and we look forward to welcoming the club back next time!
