On Thursday 18^th April, an exquisite range of modern and classic cars filled the Concours lawn at Royal Hospital Chelsea, which can only mean one thing... Salon Privé London was officially underway.

 

Being the first event of the year, we wanted to start 2024 with something special. As the press and influencers surrounded our plot on the lawn, Hilton & Moss General Manager William Garrett thanked the crowd for attending before introducing a brand-new arrival to the Hilton & Moss lineup. The cover was pulled back to reveal a stunning 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster, equipped with a genuine Mercedes-Benz ski rack and period-correct skis.

 

This car has been meticulously restored by the Hilton & Moss specialist restoration technicians, clocking up over 3,500 hours to bring the car up to its exquisite condition. The Anthracite Grey body gleamed over red leather interior as spectators gathered to admire, take pictures and talk about the car.

 

Over the course of the three-day event, the car participated in the Concours de Venté. A series of parades were held where spectators, judges and the Chelsea Pensioners could vote for their favourite cars. The 300SL was awarded Class Finalist and was highly commended by the Chelsea Pensioners as one of their favourite cars at the event.
