Lotus Emira
A new era of Lotus was born in 2022 with the launch of the Emira.
Retaining the now well-established V6 Toyota engine, the Emira would prove to be a success despite initial production delays.
In 2024, Lotus switched to a new engine platform, utilising a Mercedes-Benz inline four powerplant. Now featuring a turbocharger - for the first time on a Lotus road car since the Esprit V8 in the late 90s - production of the model continues on a global basis, with the car having a large presence in both American and Chinese markets.
